ABOUT US

Clean

  • Evolution Dry Ice uses a dry ice cleaning machine which uses compressed air to blast 3mm dry ice pellets at the vehicle underbody.
  • The kinetic energy, a temperature of -80oC and an 800% increase in volume as the dry ice reverts to a gas combine to lift the dirt and contaminants from the surface.
  • Safe and forgiving on your vehicle, effective at removing dirt and grime yet leaves stickers and factory paint markings untouched.
  • Ideal for classic cars where retaining factory originality is crucial for maintaining vehicle value.
  • No water involved in dry ice cleaning, so it is safe to use in car engine bays without having to worry about damage to electrical sensors.
  • Perfect medium for removing corrosion and preparing the surface prior to carrying out rust conversion treatments as no extra moisture is introduced.

Preserve

  • Long wet UK winters and roads covered in salt, creates ideal conditions for corrosion on vehicle underbodies.
  • Dry ice cleaning safely strips away built-up muck from all the dirt traps, behind under trays, skirts, arch liners and anywhere else it can collect and trap moisture against the body.
  • Most vehicle manufacturers still don't apply very thick layers of underseal and in some underbody areas there is only a surprisingly thin layer of paint between the metal and the road.
  • Removing as much vehicle trim as possible, such as undertrays, side skirts, wheel arch liners and bumpers allows access to effectively clean areas which trap and hold dirt and moisture against vehicle bodywork causing corrosion.
  • Utilising premium products, rust is chemically converted to a stable compound creating an impenetrable barrier.

Protect

  • We offer a range of underseal products to suit different vehicle uses.
  • Evolution Dry Ice recommends our application of a clear wax underseal to brand new vehicles, protecting them from the start and preventing any deterioration of the car underbody following exposure to road salt and moisture over the winter months.
  • We recommend an annual inspection to ensure this protection is maintained through the vehicle’s lifetime.

Engine bays & other areas

Due to there being no water involved in dry ice cleaning it is safe for use in car engine bays without having to worry about damaging delicate electrical sensors. All the intricate components, casings and covers are perfect for collecting dirt in difficult to clean and hard to access locations. Coupled with engine bays being subject to lots of road dirt, dust and multiple heat cycles, some areas can be a real challenge to improve. Usually you’d need brushes, cloths, scrapers, multiple solvent cleaning solutions and a lot of time and elbow grease to get an engine bay looking like new again. Dry ice cleaning can also help restore faded plastics, removing layers of oxidation to bring back the original finish.

If you have a classic or show car that you plan on exhibiting, we would love to help save you hours of cleaning and deliver a spotless engine bay to help wow the crowds.

Our dry ice cleaning machine can be used on the entire underside of your vehicle, engine bay and other difficult to reach areas such as door and boot hinges, around wipers, exhaust tips and just about any other area you can imagine. When we use low pressure settings and finely ground dry ice pellets we can also safely and effortlessly remove dirt from difficult to clean dirt traps in vehicle interiors such as pedal boxes, air vents, switches, centre consoles, dashboards and seat runners.

FREE INSPECTIONS

We offer free, no obligation inspections on our lift with the client present so we can discuss their vehicle's requirements. This allows us to determine the levels of dirt and corrosion to be removed/treated, quantities of dry ice required, what panels/trim need removing and it also gives us a rough idea of the labour that will be required so we can provide a more accurate estimate.
